Tonya Sletta

MS, LMHC

Hi, I’m Tonya Sletta, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, with over 19 years of experience in the field of psychology. My passion lies in helping teens and adults navigate life’s challenges through individual, family, couples, and group therapy.

My career has taken me across different settings and populations, including crisis work in emergency rooms and schools, youth and family crisis intervention, and providing outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment. I have also had the opportunity to supervise and lead other mental health teams in both Minnesota and Florida.

I believe in fostering a non-judgmental and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and emotions. With specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT and DBT treatment, I am dedicated to providing evidence-based therapies to my clients. I earned my Master’s degree in 2012 and was previously a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Minnesota from 2014-2019.

In 2018, my family and I relocated to Florida, where I am excited to continue my work as part of the Therapy Treatment Team family.

Together, we will work on building the skills and tools you need to manage your symptoms, regulate emotions, and live a fulfilling life. It would be my honor to join you on your journey toward growth and healing.
