Riley Burke

My name is Riley Burke and I will be starting with Therapy Treatment Team! I have been with CSWFL since May 2021 and am so excited to be starting here too! I am attaching my bio below so you can get to know me and my headshot to put a face to the name 🙂

I work remotely from Tampa so all of my sessions will be telehealth. I will fill in my calendar from CSWFL onto my TTT calendar. As of right now, I would like to keep my days to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and then potentially add another day as my calendar gets more full. I am open to having my first appointment at 8am and my last appointment at 6pm. Unless you think there is a more desired time frame that you have difficulty filling, I could be flexible.

Riley Burke received her Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. She also graduated from FGCU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies.

Riley has experience working with drug/alcohol addictions, anxiety, depression, and stress management/various life stressors. Riley is also very passionate about sexuality and sexual-related concerns. Riley started her professional internships and career working in substance abuse counseling, conducting both individual therapy and various group therapies including relapse prevention, medical assisted therapy and substance abuse education group therapy.

Riley is a firm believer in there is a “no one size fits all approach” and thus practices an integrative approach that is tailored to the individual’s needs. She attempts to use a theoretical approach that fits with both the client’s personality and presenting issues in counseling. Riley likes to use client-centered approaches, specifically focusing on strengths, in hopes to create a safe and comfortable space where growth can flourish.

I look forward to hearing back from you!
