My name is Alannah Keisling and I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern pursuing licensure. I have my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. I also have a triple major in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Thiel College in Pennsylvania class of ’17. The main populations I work with are young adults (18+) and older adults. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, trauma, and LGBTQIA+. I’m an eclectic therapist which means I use multiple sources of therapies in order to give each client the best possible experience and maintain flexibility to a client’s problems. I mainly utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and some of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) teachings. Seeking counseling can be beneficial for anyone and the hardest part is making the initial appointment. Know that myself and the team are always here for your concerns and our goal is to help you feel better and get back on track with your life. My beliefs are that human beings are resilient, have infinite potential, and deserve second chances. With the right support, anyone can change, grow, or maintain their wellness as a person. I make sure I do everything I can do to guide my clients through their goals and healing.
