Specializing in: Adolescents | Adults
Life can present challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. Whether you’re facing addiction, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress, or major life transitions, you don’t have to navigate it alone—support is available.
I’m Tia, a licensed mental health counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since 2013, I’ve worked with adolescents and adults in both residential and outpatient settings, offering individual, group, couples, and telehealth therapy. I currently provide virtual counseling services to clients in Florida and Tennessee.
I specialize in treating substance use, mood and anxiety disorders, relationship concerns, trauma, self-worth, stress, and adjustment. I’m also trained in a variety of specialized, evidence-based approaches including:
- Couples counseling using Gottman Method techniques
- CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) to help individuals improve sleep
- Trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to support lasting change.
As part of the Therapy Treatment Team, I work closely with a dedicated group of professionals to ensure each client receives comprehensive and compassionate care. I believe healing is possible for everyone, and that growth begins with feeling safe, supported, and empowered.
Taking that first step can be difficult, but it’s also a powerful act of self-care. I’m here to walk alongside you—whether you’re healing from trauma, strengthening your relationships, or finding ways to thrive through life’s changes.
