Kate Hutchinson

BS, MS Intern

Hello, I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern at Hodges University. I have over 10 years of experience in the counseling profession and have worked in a variety of settings, such as criminal justice, domestic violence, and addictions. I have a strong therapeutic approach that combines cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. I am an empathic, non-judgmental, and genuine counselor. I create a safe environment to help individuals regulate and cope with difficult emotions such as depression, trauma, anxiety, and fear. I can assist you with developing motivation for personal change and navigating through life’s tough decisions. I am pleased to be a member of the Therapy Treatment Team of Naples and hope to have the opportunity to guide you toward reaching your goals and happiness.
