Hi, I’m Katherine Meneses, but I go by Kat! I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern working toward my master’s degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My training has centered on multicultural competence and ethical care, and I bring those values into every session I have with clients.
I’m passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. I’m also deeply committed to providing an affirming space for the LGBTQ+ community, especially for those exploring questions related to sexual orientation or gender identity. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel completely safe to be yourself, where your story is met with respect, understanding, and genuine care.
I see counseling as a collaborative process. Together, we can explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to create meaningful change at your own pace. Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth, I’m here to walk beside you on that journey.
