Michael Trenge

MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Navigating life while feeling weighed down by stress, emotional overload, or complex mental health challenges can make it difficult to feel grounded and like yourself.

My name is Mike, and I support children aged 12 and up as well as adults facing a wide range of concerns. I evaluate and support individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma response, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, panic disorder, and schizophrenia or psychotic disorders, as well as those working through relationship issues, life transitions, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges.

Bringing nearly 18 years of critical care nursing experience alongside my background in outpatient psychiatric care and psychotherapy, I provide comprehensive treatment plans that include psychotropic medication management when appropriate.

My approach is client-centered, culturally competent, and grounded in respect and active collaboration. I integrate psychodynamic, interpersonal, humanistic, and supportive psychotherapy techniques while incorporating diversity-informed practices to create an inclusive, affirming environment for individuals from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community.

How I Can Help

  • Care for Children & Adults: I work with individuals ages 12 and up to offer steady, individualized psychiatric support.
  • Comprehensive Psychiatric & Medication Support: I evaluate and manage anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, panic disorder, schizophrenia, and emotional regulation, incorporating psychotropic medication management when applicable.
  • Integrative Psychotherapy Approach: My practice combines psychodynamic, interpersonal, humanistic, and supportive psychotherapy methods to address physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Inclusive & Culturally Competent Care: I emphasize diversity training and LGBTQ+ affirming practices to ensure care is respectful, safe, and tailored to your lived experience.
