Marla D. McQuay

Ed.S., LMHC

When you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, navigating life’s transitions can feel like a heavy burden to carry alone. Whether you are dealing with daily stress, emotional exhaustion, or patterns that feel difficult to break, having a supportive space can make all the difference.

My name is Marla D. McQuay, Ed.S., Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and I support clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life changes. As a licensed counselor, Certified School Counselor, and Certified Career Coach, I bring a broad background in counseling, education, and personal development to my practice. I hold a bachelor’s degree in health education, as well as both my Master’s and Specialist degrees in Counseling from the University of Florida.

My therapeutic approach is warm, practical, and solution-focused. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and traditional talk therapy to tailor care to your specific needs. Together, we will focus on equipping you with actionable tools, coping strategies, and executive function skills to help you build resilience and create lasting, meaningful change.
