Allison May

MS, Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with the Florida Board

Each stage of life presents new opportunities to become whoever we choose to be. We all deserve a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore who we are and navigate life’s challenges. I take pride in working alongside you to develop a plan that suits your unique values and strengths.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Before becoming a mental health counselor, I was a middle school teacher and coach. In these roles, I observed the importance of understanding one’s self and prioritizing your mental well-being. My approach to counseling begins with self-exploration and is adapted to your specific needs. I encourage you to be present in the moment and experience your life one step at a time. I take an integrative approach with treatment techniques from Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused.

You’ve taken the first step; you’re here. Together we can begin healing and set the foundation for the life you want and deserve.
