Hello, I am Melissa Belyea and I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. I graduated from Hodges University in Naples and was born and raised in Collier County. I encourage clients to live a life of authenticity and find what makes their journey meaningful. I utilize a strength-based, solution -focused, approach and encourage clients to play an active role in their treatment. I hold multiple certifications and have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, self esteem, trauma, and suicidality. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and families. One of my proudest accomplishments was being part of the 2018 National Board of Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program. The program focused on increasing access to counseling, supporting underserved communities and addressing intergenerational trauma. Creating a sense of community is important to me and I strive to provide quality care to clients looking for a new perspective.
